You Are Beautiful Photographs

February 10th   – February 14th, 2020

 

Objective:

Create Images using the “You Are Beautiful” Stickers

 

Assignment: Create 1- 8x10 amazing image that contains something beautiful and the You Are Beautiful Sticker handed out in class. The reading is due at the end of the class on Wednesday, February 12th. Photograph due on Thursday, February 13th.  Cross word puzzle will be handed out and must be returned on Friday, Feb. 14th.

Strand 1: Create – The students will create art/photography that communicates ideas, meanings, and/or purpose.

Strand 2: Relate – The students will analyze and interpret contextual ideas meanings, and purposes of art from diverse cultures and time periods.

  • See YouTube Video, hand out stickers, buddy buzz and class discuss what the purpose of the “You are Beautiful” campaign is all about, discuss reading, No Criteria Chart or Rubric will be used for this assignment
  • “The Hook” – View images and video of amazing photographs of “You are Beautiful” Stickers from all over the world.
