Photographing All The Same Color Collage
November 25th – December 6th. 2019
Objective: Draw a color from the can, and take 10 photographs of things that are the color you drew, then make a photo collage from the images.

Phase One: Do Now
T will: Day 1:
- “The Hook” – PowerPoint with all objects that are all the same color (magenta)
- Bell work: Think about where on campus or at home that you can find pictures of something this color, you may create something of the color, and photograph it if you wish.
- Classroom discussion about lighting and color saturation and the rule of thirds
- Buddy Buzz with your shoulder partner about your color, maybe they have an idea of something you can photograph…
Phase Two – Instructional Scaffolding
The Agenda: Bell work – student lead class discussion on ways to photograph things of a certain color

- Ticket out the Door –Write a short reflection about your photographs and the experience of looking for them
- Classroom discussion about lighting and color saturation and the rule of thirds
