Photograph in the Style of a Modern Photographer

January 6th – January 17th, 2020
Assignment: Select a modern photographer. Research and write a 5 paragraph essay with a works cited page on the photographer of your choice. Select a digital copy of the image you want to replicate. Create 1 image in the likeness of their photographic work, style, lighting, and composition. Turn in your essay by Monday, January 13th and the image is due by Friday, January 17th, 2020)
Objective: Students will select a photographer and one of their images and copy the style, content, lighting, objective and voice of that photographer’s work into a photograph of their own.
Due Dates: The 5 paragraph essay with citation page is due Monday (150pts) January 13th at the end of class. Reading #1 due Thursday, January 8th, Reading #2 due Wednesday, January 14th, 2020 and the Replicated Picture and original example (200 pts) due Friday, January 17th at the end of class.
