Ring Light Portraits (Valentine’s Themed)

 

 

January 27th – January 31st ,2020

Assignment: Students are provided a back drop, ring light and various photo props to take a glamor type portrait photograph with a Valentine’s theme (if the student’s prefer another theme, that is not a problem, the objective is to use the ring light in portraiture.) Students will turn in 3 well composed, well lit portraits of themselves or a classmate - photos due on Friday, reading and Cornell Notes due Wednesday.

 

Objective: Students will learn to use a ring light, see the differences in the lighting techniques, and highlight effects of the ring light in “head shot” type portraits.
